ヾ(･д･ヾ)visualONGAKUへようこそ(ツ･д･)ツ
Welcome to visualONGAKU!
This website is dedicated to the 2000 ~ 2010 era of visual kei. Its purpose is to archive information, lyrics, images, and translations for these bands, so that not everything is lost to the void of time. This is my favourite era of VK (especially around 2005!).
If you have information or scans of bands from this time period, feel free to contact me!
There's a lot of information that's already lost and not archived, sadly. I wish I'd started this project again sooner.
Why "visualONGAKU"?
visualONGAKU (ヴィジュアル音楽) was the website I originally started in ...2004? I think. Its goal was mostly the same, except the bands were all still active at the time! As for the name, well, it's obvious, isn't it? Visual music. Of course! It's a bit of a silly, simplistic name, but I wanted to ressurect the old site, and I guess 19 year old me wasn't the best at original site names (´・ω・｀)
I hope everyone will enjoy the website and find it useful. I know that we have the absolutely wonderful vk.gy as a resource now, but I hope to expand on some in-depth information and other things about bands that they don't cover.
お楽しみに～ヾ(・∀・｀*)ﾉ☆
Updates
2022.11.20
A quick little update.. Maybe I'll figure out how to put the updates tag here later so I don't have to always edit this page, lol. I haven't totally forgotten about this site! I've just been HELLA busy with life and being so fucking tired all the time. I hope you guys, if anyone checks this, are doing well!
I plan on trying to at least back-up all my lyrics from the Romaji community sometime soon. Would be good to have those backed up just in case, though I don't think LJ is going to poof randomly (*glares at greatestjournal*). That's a reference most people aren't gonna get.. and if you get it, congrats! You're old like me!
